Vinimos un fin de semana largo y esperamos 3 horas!!! Pero, valió la pena todo. Tenes que ser paciente y esperar tu turno. Primero vas a la playa donde haces todo el papeleo y después subís a Pedra Bonita. Wowwww, volar en ala delta! Que experiencia inolvidable!!! Corres (literal) desde el techo de Pedra Bonita al aire y así volas! Las vistas desde el vuelo te dejan sin palabras! You must experience once in your life the ala delta! The flight goes for 10 minutes approximately.
We came on a long weekend and we had to wait 3 hours!!! But, totally worth it. You must be patient and wait for your turn. You go to the beach first, there you get your paperwork done and then you go up Pedra Bonita. Wowwww, ala delta flying! What an unforgettable experience!!! Yo run (literally) from the roof of Pedra Bonita into the air and off you go! The views to get from above are breathtaking! Lastly, which most definitely not the operator's fault - be aware that if the wind is not blowing in the right direction or at the right strength you will be waiting around up on the mountain until it eventually picks up or changes direction. The instructors did not speak any good english and I personally didn't feel like they put in any effort to relate to explain to us in detail what will happen during the flight from start to finish. I did ask to go straight after my partner but my request was brushed off as insignificant. This is a poor experience when I'm there to have a romantic holiday. My partner went first and I had to wait for a string of other strangers to do their jumps before my instructor finally came to get me to do my jump. Most importantly I'll mention - I booked this experience with my fiance so i expected that we will handglide one right after the other so that we can wait together, leave together, and enjoy the experience together but instead they split us up. Luckily we had the extra 3 days in Rio to spare and wait. The actual gliding was amazing but our scheduled experience was delayed 3 whole days because of the wind.
